Production Operative
Location: Blackburn BB1
Pay Rates:
Rotating Shifts (06:00 – 14:00 / 14:00 – 22:00)
- Band 1 (Starting Rate): £13.68 per hour
- Band 2 (Upon successful completion of additional skills training and sign-off): £14.18 per hour
Night Shift (22:00 – 06:00)
- Band 1: £15.37 per hour
- Band 2 (Upon successful completion of additional skills training and sign-off): £15.87 per hour
Overtime Opportunities:
- Weekdays: Time and a half
- Saturdays: Time and a half
- Sundays: Double time
The Role:
We are seeking motivated and reliable Production Operatives to join our clients busy manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced production environment, with opportunities to develop new skills and progress to higher pay bands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating production machinery and equipment safely.
- Assembling, packing, and inspecting products to quality standards.
- Following production schedules and work instructions.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Completing quality checks and production records.
- Working effectively as part of a team to meet production targets.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous production or manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work rotating shifts or permanent nights.
- Commitment to health and safety procedures.
