Our client is currently recruiting experienced Machine Operatives to join their busy production team at their site in Ashton-in-Makerfield WN4.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with previous machine operating experience who are looking to join a well established manufacturing business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production machinery safely and efficiently
- Set up and adjust machinery as required
- Load raw materials and remove finished products from the production line
- Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
- Identify and report any machine faults or production issues
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Follow all company procedures and health & safety regulations
Shift Patterns
Rotational Shifts (Monday to Friday):
- 6:00am – 2:00pm
- 2:00pm – 10:00pm
OR
Permanent Night Shift (Sunday to Thursday):
Pay Rates
- £12.71 per hour for rotational shifts
- £13.66 per hour for permanent night shifts
Essential Requirements:
- Previous machine operating experience within a manufacturing or production environment is essential
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work to production targets
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A proactive attitude with a strong understanding of health and safety procedures
